Via 313 was born from a deep love of Detroit — its resilience, its culture, and its one-of-a-kind pizza. When founders Brandon and Zane Hunt brought the via 313 concept to Austin and Cedar Park, TX, they carried that spirit with them in every square slice.

Detroit-style pizza is unlike anything else. Baked in well-seasoned steel pans, it features a thick, airy crust with crispy, lacey cheese edges — a style perfected in Motor City pizzerias and now celebrated at every Via 313 location. Our dough is made fresh daily, our sauce is crafted from sun-ripened tomatoes, and our cheese is applied all the way to the edges for that signature caramelized crust.

The name "313" pays homage to Detroit's iconic area code — a badge of pride for a city that forever shaped American food culture. 2013

The Trailer Is Born

Brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt launch Via 313 as a food trailer in East Austin, TX. Word spreads fast — Detroit-style pizza has arrived in Texas, and lines start forming daily.

2015

First Brick-and-Mortar

Via 313 opens its first permanent location in South Lamar, Austin. The pizza is the same — crispy, cheesy, deeply satisfying — but now guests can sit down and savor the full via 313 experience.

2017

Award-Winning Recognition

Via 313 is named one of Austin's best pizza restaurants by multiple local publications. The via 313 pizza concept earns national attention, cementing its place in Texas food culture.

2019

Expanding Across Texas

New locations open in Round Rock and Georgetown. The via313 family grows — more kitchens, more team members, more communities getting a taste of Detroit done right in Texas.

2021

Cedar Park Opens

Via 313 brings its signature pies to Cedar Park, TX. The location at 1335 E Whitestone Blvd becomes an instant neighborhood favorite, serving families and pizza lovers across the greater Austin area.
